Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving in Canton, MO. We headed to Canton to visit the Biesterfeld/McCutchan family. It was a wonderful trip back and we enjoyed seeing the family. I was still able to shop, which made my weekend! We stayed with Grandma Ella Mae and we visited the other Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

30th birthday party

The birthday was a success! A few family and friends went to dinner and out for drinks...nothing too wild, but a lot of fun.

Turning 30......

As much as I hate to admit it, I'll be turning 30 in 10 days. It's hard to believe that I've been out of high school for 11 years now. Where has the time gone? Of all of my high school girl friends, I'm the first one to hit the Big 3-0....so I have nobody to share my pain with yet. I will have to wait until June and September when they share this age with me. By then, I'll be completely over it and ready for 31. I always said I would have my degree by the time I'm 30...I was wrong. I failed that mission with only a year left before I graduate. I have however accomplished some of my other goals...I have a great husband and we've started our family together and I've got a good job that I enjoy. Next on my 'to do' list is more kiddos. Aunt Nay Nay is doing a great job watching Collin, but I feel like she needs more kids of mine to watch! Collin needs a brother or sister that Aunt Nay can spoil too!

Our 1st Anniversary

We had a great night planned. We had reservations at Kobe Steakhouse, tickets to Trans Siberian Orchestra, AND Grandma was babysitting for the night! Dinner started out delicious. Headed to the concert and Jason and I started feeling sick. We ended up having to leave the concert about an hour into the show. Both of us were terribly sick. We even had to stop at Grandma's house on the way home because I didn't think I was going to make it home! We were both sick all night long...must have been food poisoning. So it really wasn't the evening that we had planned. Jason did send me flowers at work though on Monday!!! AND Kobe gave us our money back for us getting so sick. Turns out there were 4 other people that we knew there and they all got sick as well. Gosh, I'm going to miss going to Kobe but I don't think we'll be back.

Halloween

Collin's first Halloween! He was a little dragon and I think he liked his costume. We had dinner at Grandma's and visited some friends for the evening. He didn't get as much candy as I would have liked ;)

Weekend in KC

We just came back from a weekend trip in KC. We stayed with Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Bill. We had lots of fun with them. Big brother Rhyan held Collin for a few minutes but was a little nervous about it. Furry brother Baxter licked Collin every chance he got....and managed to steal his socks off of him without Collin even noticing. We did some shopping and ate at my favorite bbq joint (Oklahoma Joe's.) We also visited a couple of my old girls at High Noon. It was a great weekend but it was too short for us. Next up is Thanksgiving in Canton with the Biesterfeld/McCutchan families! And lots of shopping on Black Friday!
